Cutting Machine Operator

Are you interested in machining technology? During your training as a cutting machine operator, you'll get an introduction to an exciting profession where precision is key.

Working on leading edge multi-axis machines, you'll learn how to manufacture and machine workpieces made of metal and other materials. You'll be responsible for planning and controlling the manufacturing process, setting up machines, and monitoring the production process.

You will work with a range of tools and computer-aided machines, such as CNC lathes and milling machines. Your spatial comprehension will help you to understand technical drawings and then transform them into complex components,

whereby we value your sound technical understanding as well as your care and precision in the implementation of your work. We will be delighted to reward your high level of motivation by involving you in our optimization projects.

Duties

Become part of our machining team and work on state-of-the-art multi-axis machines from manual forming (raw product) to grinding (finished product)

  • Training on the manufacturing processes and quality standards
  • Manufacturing of parts according to production orders in compliance with our productivity and quality regulations
  • Creating machining programs with software (MasterCam)
  • Participation in continuous improvement projects

Your training program can also extend beyond this if you express a particular interest or motivation

About you
  • DAP as " Mécanicien d'usinage " in Luxembourg 

  • Or a BTS " Conception des Processus et Réalisation de Produits " at an institution with official " Convention transfrontalière d'apprentissage "

  • Particular interest in manual work (e.g., in a mechanical field, machinery, technical drawings, etc.)

  • Team player

  • Methodical approach

  • You speak fluent French
