Our success story
Paul Schwarzkopf founded the company in 1921 in Reutte in Tirol.
Fifteen employees produced a handful of products, including tungsten wire for the lighting industry.
Today, 11,000 employees produce more than 100,000 products for thousands of customers from future-oriented industries.

Our customers rely on our excellent knowledge of materials, our application knowledge of powder metallurgy and our powerful technologies. Every year, we invest ten percent of our sales in the development of new products as well as in new buildings, systems and technologies.
