Cutting machine operator

Are you interesting in machining technology and state-of-the-art manufacturing?

During your training as a cutting machine operator, you'll get an introduction to the world of state-of-the-art manufacturing. You'll learn how to manufacture workpieces made of metal and other materials on precise multi-axis machines – from the blank to the finished component. This will involve taking responsibility for planning and managing the production process, setting up machines, and monitoring the production process.

You will be working with CNC turning and milling machines and software such as MasterCam to create machine programs. You have a good grasp of technology and a good ability to visualize things in a spatial context, which helps you understand technical drawings and convert them into complex components. Quality and productivity are always the top priorities here.
You will also be involved in continuous improvement projects, where you can bring your own ideas and motivation to the table. If you're extra motivated, you may even be able to take your training one step further.

Sound like something you'd enjoy? Then an apprenticeship as a cutting machine operator is just your thing, and the perfect starting point to an incredible career.
