Position type: Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY: Provide quotations management for custom engineered products and solutions. Including request for quotes, maintaining the quality and delivery of these request. Responsible for pricing of special tool concepts based off the cost versus profit margins and market comparisons. Contribute to quality by ensuring concepts are accurate, deadlines are met, and all coordination is complete to ensure customer satisfaction.  

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Provide technical support on large project size tooling programs from concept development of the customer inquiry through order placement and delivery.
  • Calculates new tools estimates and calculate pricing on existing special tools
  • Daily communication with technical staff, sales team, and global teams to ensure expected outcomes
  • Acting as the liaison between sales units, production units and external suppliers on all custom engineered products
  • Open and transparent communication to all teams involved
  • Handle quotations phone calls and/or video calls as needed to provide high level of customer satisfaction
  • Follow up on quote to ensure expectations are met from the customer expectations
  • Travel to customer sites as needed to support special tool growth

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 7+ years of experience with manufacturing and special cutting tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills, leadership, ability to problem solve, resolve conflict
  • Advanced MS Office knowledge (with a focus on MS Excel)
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking
  • Customer interaction

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Travel will be required, to other CERATIZIT sites and to customers, >20%.
