POSITION SUMMARY: The Technical Sales Engineer role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the aerospace industry assembly, developing and maintaining relationships with key clients and industry partners, and preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations and proposals. Additionally, the role includes managing and maintaining a customer database, providing exceptional customer service and support, resolving issues promptly, and gathering and analyzing customer feedback to improve products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Identify, develop and close new business opportunities within the aerospace industry assembly
  • Manage new opportunities from beginning thru implementation
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, and industry partners
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
  • Provide technical support and expertise to clients, addressing their needs and requirements
  • Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to ensure solutions meet client specifications
  • Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for clients and internal teams
  • Stay updated on industry trends, and technologies
  • Manage and maintain a customer database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support, resolving issues and concerns promptly
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve products and service

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to design, deliver, and manage training programs.
  • Proficient in using technology and software applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CRM systems.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude, including experience with statistical analysis, frequency distributions, algebra, trigonometry, calculus, and data validation techniques.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be willing and able to travel more than 50% of the time, including overnight stays.
  • International travel is required.
  • A valid U.S. driver’s license is required.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
