We are immediately hiring for a Senior Requirements Engineer – IT _Business Analyst role to join our E-Business team. In this role, you will work closely with Business, UX/UI, Product Owners, and Development teams to understand business needs and translate them into clear requirements for software development. You will also guide and support local Requirements Engineers while ensuring alignment with global teams and standards.

Work Location: Mysore, Karnataka, India

Department: IT_E-Business Team

Work Experience: Min.5 Years – Max.10 Years

Education Degree: B.E/B.TECH/MCA

Role

  • Acts as a central bridgehead for Requirements Engineering in an offshore setup
  • Combines RE expertise with functional leadership of local team members
  • Ensures alignment between business priorities, line management, and delivery

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear and actionable user stories and specifications.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, UX/UI designers, and Development teams.
  • Review and validate requirements to ensure quality, completeness, and consistency.
  • Coordinate requirements engineering activities across offshore and global teams.
  • Facilitate requirement workshops, discussions, and review meetings.
  • Track requirement status, dependencies, risks, and changes.
  • Ensure compliance with standard templates, processes, and governance guidelines.
  • Mentor and support junior team members.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of Requirements Engineering practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Requirements Engineering, Business Analysis, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience in writing user stories, business requirements, and functional specifications.
  • Knowledge of UML, BPMN, or process modeling tools is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
