Responsibilities
- Checking of requisitions/purchase indents.
- Selection/research potential vendor for issue of enquiries.
- Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.
- Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.
- Creation of purchase Orders and getting order acknowledgement from supplier.
- Enter order confirmation into internal databases.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Keeping various Departments/Divisions informed of the progress of their indents in case
- of delay in obtaining supplies.
- Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analysis.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
- Review and change safety stocks and re-order levels based on consumption once a quarter.
- Subcontracting Purchase Orders and Sourcing.
- Should handle above processes for supply and services.
- Operate with key focus to KPIs.
- Taking up process improvement and sourcing projects to minimize spend.
Requirements
- Graduate with at least one year of experience in Purchasing (B.E. preferred for knowledge on understanding product drawings).
- SAP and MS Suite hands-on experience.
- Should be Dynamic and Adaptable to make sure OTIF.
- Good Verbal and Written communication (English).
