As Much Independence as Possible

Lilli, a young girl from Reutte, recently completed an internship at the Snack Corner of the Plansee Group with her supervisor from Vianova. Her tasks included preparing sandwiches, packing salads, and stocking deliveries and beverages.

Vianova is an organization that supports people with and without disabilities in the areas of living, working, and leisure. Vianova inquired with the Plansee Group about the possibility of an internship for Lilli. Antonia Wachter from the Plansee Group's recruiting team contacted Alexander Thurner, the head of gastronomy at the site, who immediately agreed because he thought it was a great opportunity. Lilli wanted to try out the work, and although cooking wasn't her strong suit, she really enjoyed working at the Snack Corner.

Dressed in a white coat, long pants, and work shoes, Lilli was perfectly outfitted to meet hygiene regulations. She was always well-prepared during her internship and worked every day from 9 AM to 12 PM. She mastered her tasks with flying colors and showed great commitment. She was supported in her work by a supervisor from Vianova, who assisted her with smaller tasks. However, the goal was for Lilli to complete as much as possible independently.

Lilli had a lot of fun during her internship and was enthusiastic about the work. She would love to do another internship at the Plansee Group. She also received only positive feedback from her colleague Karin. Before her internship at the Plansee Group, Lilli had already completed several internships, including in retail and office work.

In the area of work, Vianova's goal is to help people with disabilities gain a foothold in the working world. Lilli's internship at the Plansee Group shows what successful inclusion in the workplace can look like and how important it is to give everyone the opportunity to develop their skills in a supportive environment.
