Position type: HourlyMi-Tech Tungsten Metals is hiring a skilled CNC Set Up Technician. The right candidate will be experienced in CNC setups, prove new programs and troubleshoot any issues.
Responsibilities:
Install tooling / work holding per instructions per instructions into the CNC equipment based on setup work instructions
Set up the CNC equipment with correct work holding, tooling, and parts to perform the job
Troubleshoot issues with machine programming
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members
Inspect and maintain equipment
Qualifications:
3-5 years CNC set up experience or related machining experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong analytical, math, and computer skills
Able to interpret blueprints, schematics, and other documents
GD&T Understanding how to use datums, feature control frames, and symbols to describe the conditions and tolerances of a part
Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
