Position type: Non-Exempt

 

Position Overview: The position encompasses functions that can be categorized into the following:  technician work, raw materials/product scheduling, and SAP related tasks.

Responsibilities Would Include:

  • Responsible for formulating and issuing process instructions to the production floor. Department sample submissions, tracking and recording results.  Works from written / verbal instruction and specifications. 
  • Work closely with production floor, production planning, marketing, and engineering to ensure product is on time to current customer specification.   
  • Monitor department first pass yield and on time delivery.  Monitor department inventory levels and accuracy.
  • Interface with Customers, Engineering, Management, and Operations personnel, to meet goals of Quality and Capacity.  Support production goals by planning raw material consumption within departments. 
  • Aides process engineering personnel in optimizing operations with constantly changing raw material supply.  Support environmental compliance by maintaining documentation and control equipment

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Minimum two-year technical associate degree
  • Experience with SAP. Statistical knowledge/Mini Tab. Microsoft Office  -  Excel/Word/Access/Outlook
  • Strengths in statistical thinking, lab techniques, computer skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively from operator to senior management level
  • Well rounded, able to be flexible and multi-task. Available to work weekends if required.
