The Production Manager oversees daily production operations to ensure schedules are met, cost variance is minimized, and utilization targets are achieved. This role is responsible for directing production activities, maintaining safety and quality standards, optimizing resources, ensuring timely delivery of products, and maintaining the work environment. The Production Manager also partners with team members across operations to support continuous improvement and sustain efficient and reliable production performance.

Requirements:

• Directly contribute to the development and formulation of long and short-range planning, policies, programs, and objectives which support the company’s competitive position and operational performance.

• Create strategies and capacity plans that ensure production schedules are achievable, and production output meets expectations.

• Plan, develop, organize, and implement systems and resources needed to meet production demand efficiently and on time.

• Direct programs essential to production operations, including training, execution of safety and security programs, housekeeping (5S), cost reduction, and worker engagement.

• Execute the production plan and establish procedures to maintain high standards of operations that ensure products conform to customer and company quality standards.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing management, preferably in a process-oriented operations and/or related industry

• Computer proficient with Microsoft Office

• Experience working with manufacturing-based technology, processes, and principles is preferred.

• BA/BS in industrial, mechanical, or business administration, or a 4-year technical degree in related discipline

• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles including 5S and continuous improvement methodologies
