Position type: Non-ExemptMi-Tech Tungsten Metals is currently hiring an experienced manufacturing supervisor for our 2nd shift operations. The right candidate will have a machining background in addition they will be able to communicate job expectations, planning, monitoring, and enforce policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and supervision
Interface with team members on a daily basis and act as the first line of command in resolving problems and maintaining efficient and orderly workflow
Coordinate workloads
Inspect parts during the shift to verify specifications are being met
Accurate and timely production reporting
Qualifications:
High school diploma / GED - (Asociate's degree in technical field or equivalent education - Preferred)
Previous Machining experience
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Strong Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel)
Two years of Supervisory experience or training
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Able to train on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift
5S training (preferred)
Exposure to quality procedures (preferred)
