Production support 1st shift

• Plansee USA is looking for a Production Support team member. 1st Shift: Monday - Friday; 6:00 am - 2:30 pm.

  RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Operate manufacturing equipment (i.e., ultrasonic cleaning tank, tumbler, deburring) achieving print specifications including quality and through-put.
  • Work from established procedures and prescribed operation sequences to achieve parts per print and quality specification.
  • Perform hand rework functions such as deburring, polishing, sorting, counting, packing and part cleaning.
  • Operate water-based part cleaning equipment to clean parts.
  • Return tool crib items to stock and perform tool crib cycle counts.
  • Clean-up and maintenance of equipment in shop areas as needed.
  • Perform material reclaim chip spinning functions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or GED. 1 to 3 years in a manufacturing production environment.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques.
• High level proficiency in reading and interpreting machining and fabrication drawings.
• Solid math, geometry and trigonometry skills and understanding GD&T.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
