Position Overview: This position supports the GTP Powders group. The primary responsibility is to act as a liaison between the customer and GTP’s internal functions including, production, planning, marketing and finance.
Responsibilities Would Include:
- Working with all aspects of GTP’s business – sales, marketing, planning, production, finance, quality, and R&D – the Inside Sales Representative will interact and help manage customer relationships. This will be done though a high level of professionalism, communication, and cooperation internally and externally.
- Data Entry and Maintenance – Including, but not limited to, order entry, quote entry, initiate part number set-up, order maintenance (changes, updates, etc.), new customer set-up, customer master maintenance, entering SAP on-line pricing.
- Communication & Collaboration – Quote follow up (internally and externally), attend production and other internal meetings, facilitate, and attend customer calls, work with customer and logistics to schedule shipments, customer follow up when required (purchase order follow up, complaints, specification changes, payment issues for house accounts, etc.), data entry into customer systems as required.
- Reporting –consignment reporting, assist in maintaining customer forecast/vendor schedules, and other reports as requested.
- Other responsibilities to include – responding to various customer requests (SDS’s, Certs, TIB’s, etc.), contract/order review (terms, pricing, credit, etc.), Assist in coordinating subcontracted external services and sales of byproduct for GTP Powders organization. Additional responsibilities as requested.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree, Associates degree, or equivalent combination of experience
- SAP experience, Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), high level of professionalism and enthusiasm
